Fuel injector is a part of the mechanical system, which injects the fuel into the cylinder of an internal combustion engine, by reducing it into a fine spray. This injection of fuel depends upon the designing and concept of any engine. Automobile companies around the world are regularly engaged in the research and development of modern engines, to enhance the performance of their automobiles. Power is generated by the ignition of fuel inside the combustion chamber of the engine. Therefore, the amount and manner in which fuel enters the combustion chamber is highly correlated with the generation of power. Thus, the design or structure of a fuel injector is directly proportional to the performance of an automobile.
According to J. Mays, Ford Motor Company group's vice president for design, "True to its heritage, the Bronco is a tough and genuine SUV that's all about function. It's like a claw hammer in a box full of department store, battery operated, plastic, power tools."
The emphasis at Ford Motor Co. in their plant is on quality control of the product at each stage of component manufacture. This is the main reason for the extreme popularity of ford racing spare parts. Maintenance of quality starts at the machining or assembling stage of the components and not at the time of quality inspection. Quality inspection is carried out at various stages such as raw materials receipt, manufacturing of components and assembly at different stages and finished part.
